What is orbital cellulitis?
Orbital cellulitis is an inflammation of the eye socket (orbit), it is a rare eye condition, particularly in children. Orbital cellulitis is an inflammation that occurs suddenly and rapidly developing and dangerous. Orbital cellulitis is caused by an infection, because bacteria entering the eye socket, for example by an inflamed sinus, from a sore or pimple that is on or near the eye or eyelids or is a foreign body like a splinter. Because these bacteria touches the sensitive tissue inside the eye socket covered inflamed. In most cases, only one eye that is inflamed. ik heb reeds 15 jaar een plaatje met twee vijzen op mijn oogkas (juist onder m’n oog) in februari en nu vanaf 9 mei heb ik verschrikkelijk veel pijn (met tussenpozen) die straalt onder mijn oog en op de bovenste tandwortels, beetje naar neus toe.
de dokter zegt dat het trigiminus neuralgie is, ik neem tegretol en pijnstillers, heb een scan vh hoofd laten doen, wacht nog altijd op de uitslag. ondertussen heb ik veel pijn.
kan het zijn dat met dat plaatje eruit te halen het veel betert.
