Signs and symptoms:

 - Red, sensitive eyes.

- The skin around the eye is affected.

What is orbital cellulitis?

Orbital cellulitis is an inflammation of the eye socket (orbit), it is a rare eye condition, particularly in children. Orbital cellulitis is an inflammation that occurs suddenly and rapidly developing and dangerous. Orbital cellulitis is caused by an infection, because bacteria entering the eye socket, for example by an inflamed sinus, from a sore or pimple that is on or near the eye or eyelids or is a foreign body like a splinter. Because these bacteria touches the sensitive tissue inside the eye socket covered inflamed. In most cases, only one eye that is inflamed. Diagnosis. With orbital cellulitis are often the first symptoms, swollen eye and red, tender eyelids, then come soon symptoms such as pain and loss of vision in one.
